Lead teams of Engineers and manage the Project Resources Scheduling Task assignments Client interaction co-ordination amongst different vendors co-ordination between front office team and remote engineering office teams. Batch Process upgrading on DeltaV platform for Pharmaceutical clients.- Interact with customer for Reviewing Design Specifications and Test Specifications. Lead teams for Installation Qualification and operational Qualification (SAT) at client site. Involvement for Site Commissioning activities. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced project. Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA an advantage. Knowledge of process instrumentation an advantage. About the role: We are looking to hire a Senior Automation Engineer to join the Automation Team supporting our Multinational Biotech Client based in Cork. The selected candidate will be involved in the design, configuration, implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and change control for this client. The successful candidate would be required to have experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology sectors and must have previous DCS experience. GDP/CSV mindset is essential. Responsibilities: Studying functional requirements and process control strategies for control systems. About the role Senior MES Recipe Author - The Senior MES Recipe Author will be responsible for implementing System\MES recipe changes and managing the day-to-day issues that arise in the support of Electronic Batch Records Weigh and Dispense and Equipment Management modules on our Emerson Syncade MES solution. The position will work within a collaborative MES team at a large multi-national Biotech manufacturing facility in Cork. What you must have to be considered Responsibilities Maintain the incident queue in Service Now and manage and resolve issues as they arise in a timely manner. Initiate and implement Change Control activities in accordance with Quality Standards and Practices Investigate and troubleshoot problems which occur and determine solutions or recommendations for changes and/or improvements The ability to produce high-quality well documented configuration that is easily maintainable Prioritize support activities in line with project schedules Perform testing of new MES recipes and changes Generate computer system validation documentation in accordance with site procedures and GMP guidelines Follow all relevant Environmental Health and Safety procedures and assist in incident investigations as required.
