Workshop Supervisor Reports to: Service Manager Location: Naas Job Type: Full-time Due to continued growth within FJS Plant, we have another Exciting Opportunity available. We are now recruiting for an experienced and professional Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Naas. This is a very hands-on role within a growing team. Role includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop. In this role, you will supervise all workshop personnel, oversee the management and maintenance of equipment, and ensure the efficiency of operations. You will also be required to manage inventory and enforce safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Team Management: Supervise and direct a team of workshop technicians and mechanics. Provide guidance, training, and coaching to team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. - Workshop Operations: Plan and schedule maintenance and repair tasks for plant and machinery equipment. Ensure efficient use of resources, including equipment and personnel. Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment. - Manufacturer Relationships: Work closely with manufacturers to ensure warranty claims are processed efficiently. Stay up to date with manufacturer-specific training and technical updates. Collaborate with manufacturers to implement new technologies and best practices. - Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and tests to verify work quality. - Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety training and drills. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. Requirements: - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a plant and machinery workshop or similar environment. - Skills: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Qualifications: Relevant trade certification (e.g., mechanical, engineering). Supervisory or management training. - Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance management software. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for plant and machinery.
