Job Description
As the Senior Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and launching the tactical elements for multiple events simultaneously. In order to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and meet business goals, you will partner with the EMEA Tradeshow Experience Manager to understand strategic intent and implement marketing strategies to reach target attendees with a keen focus on continually tracking, enhancing, and adapting plans based on customer experience feedback and data insights.
This position collaborates with product management, design, automation, and digital partners who, collectively, bring campaigns to fruition.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver an integrated campaign and messaging strategy for key events that align with business objectives.
+ Develop promotional content for all event marketing tactics.
+ Work with Global Tradeshow and Events colleagues to elevate and extend the onboarding experience, contributing to the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
+ Lead decision making, planning, and execution of all event marketing tactics; create, track, manage, and report work through dedicated marketing work management platforms.
+ Responsible for tracking and reporting all event metrics to inform and improve future event marketing activities
+ Responsible for 3rd party relationship management, including conference organizations, and the execution of 3rd party tactics.
+ Allocate tradeshow marketing campaignspend across all events to support objectives with adherence to the annual budget.
+ Acquire insight into trends and share ideas for engaging attendees.
+ Contribute to reinforcing Bio-Techne's cultural values of Empowerment, Passion, Innovation, and Collaboration.
+ Travel may be requiredto execute duties.
+ Any other duties as required - this may include picking and packing for event shipments, or other event operational administration support.
A successful candidate will work within a dynamic, fast-paced marketing environment. The work performed in this role is a critical factor for the smooth operation of the department and the attainment of its corporate goals
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Highly organized self-starter with the energy and ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously
+ Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences
+ Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed, and build good working relationships
+ Experience in promotional copywriting, editing, and proofreading
+ Ability to multi-task, managing a high volume of tactics from concept to execution to optimization
+ Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape
+ Strong ability to deploy strategic multi-channel marketing with an appeal to customers in a scientific field
+ Experience in confidently analyzing data to provide insights into customer engagement and marketing effectiveness
**Required Qualifications/Experience:**
+ 8+ years of applicable experience in marketing and events
+ Experience working with various marketing tools required, including but not limited to:
+ Customer Relationship Management (CRM), preferably Salesforce
+ Email Marketing systems
+ Metrics and data visualization tools
+ Work Operating Systems, preferably Monday.com
**Desired Qualifications/Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in life science, marketing or related field of study
+ Experience working within a Life Sciences, Biotech or Healthcare company
+ A second language would be highly advantageous?
+ Project management processes and tools
+ Experience working within a complex global company structure

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Provide phone support to health care professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, product support, and other needs as required. This does NOT include commercial sales support.**
**Receive, triage, review and process Lifecycle safety operational data. Perform data entry for tracking and Lifecycle safety databases, coding relevant medical terminology, writing descriptive narratives, generating queries pertinent to the case, performing quality control, assisting with reconciliation, driving case closure, coordinating translations.**
**Receive and document incoming telephone calls or emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting safety data.**
**Build a positive, collaborative team environment with Lifecycle safety team members, lead by example, provide training and mentoring for less experienced team members and operations staff.**
**Establish and maintain effective team project service operations communications**
**Liaise with Project Manager by proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions**
**Participate in training across Lifecycle safety process service offerings, participate in working groups as applicable in implementation of new initiatives**
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
**Must be a Pharmacist.**
**Excellent written and verbal skills in** **English (min. C1) and German language (min. C2 or native).**
**Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills across our Lifecycle Safety service lines.**
**Excellent attention to detail and accuracy maintaining consistently high-quality standards.**
**Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.**
**Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.**
**Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously, organize own workload and effectively manage competing priorities.**
**MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
**Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy**
**Fluency in English (min. C1 level) and native level of German language.**
