Job Description We are Ireland's largest retailer providing fashion, homewares and food for our loyal customers. We operate 134 stores across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain, as well as a growing online store. We are currently recruiting a Loss Prevention Manager to join one of our Dublin store teams. Security Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and shrinkage. Implement security strategies and policies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Conduct risk assessments of our stores and identify potential areas of vulnerability, taking corrective action where necessary. Develop and maintain relationships with local Gardai and other relevant agencies to allow for effective and timely crime resolutions. Investigate, resolve, and report any suspected external/internal theft, fraud, or other illegal activities to Gardai and relevant agencies. Manage all aspects of the company's security policies, including monitoring of electronic surveillance systems, conducting investigations, and reporting on trends and patterns. Health and Safety Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, legal and health & safety to ensure that all aspects of the company's security and safety policies are aligned and integrated. Oversee and maintain safety standards within the store which will include completing various safety inspections designated by store management. Training Manage, support, train and develop new and existing security teams. Establish and maintain a strong loss prevention culture within the store. Responsible for the education of staff on security and H&S related issues and provide training on how to mitigate potential risks. Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure that all security-related products and services meet the company's standards. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security management, preferably in a retail environment. Strong knowledge of security strategies and techniques, including electronic surveillance, physical security, and inventory control. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including I.T. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results. Ability to travel to various locations as required. Experience: Experience dealing with shrink and crime resolution in a busy retail setting. Will require you to resolve external theft situations in a professional and safe manner. Who are we looking for An experienced DLP platform security professional to play a key role in our Security Platforms team. The individual will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing the key security tools and platforms supporting our Cyber Fusion Centre colleagues as well as guiding key projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven success implementing DLP and data labelling technologies. What you will be responsible for Driving key projects and initiatives to improve and expand existing DLP platform capabilities Working on technology projects, including product evaluation, solution design, implementation and operationalisation Working directly with Stakeholders and Business Units to define requirements and develop security solutions Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protection Partnering within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure our security platforms meet operational needs, within DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident response Owning the reliability, availability, and performance of DLP platforms What we value Strong foundational security knowledge, with specific expertise in DLP and Endpoint Security tooling Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP technologies across all infrastructure components eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, ZScaler Internet Access (ZIA), Microsoft Purview Excellent understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques Previous experience actively participating in all phases of enterprise wide security platform projects, from initiation (discovery) to implementation and operationalisation A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security Project tracking experience and organisational skills Strong personal work ethic with excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment, emphasising reliability and system availability A track record of succeeding in distributed, international teams Education & Preferred Qualifications This is a role for an experienced security professional, expected to have 7+ years of relevant security experience A degree is not required for this role, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial Experience with scripting, system integration, or light development would be beneficial (e.g., Python, PowerShell, other scripting) Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CISSP, CISM, relevant product certifications) Experience in financial services may be beneficial, or experience of leading technical teams Additional Requirements This role may be filled in Ireland (Dublin or Kilkenny preferred, or remote) or United States (MA preferred, or remote) This team supports 24/7 operations, therefore participation in an on-call rotation is required Are you the right candidate?
