Job Spec: Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for civil engineering projects. Measure quantities from drawings and specifications. Build up labour, plant and material costs for tenders Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and pricing documents. Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options. Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors during the tender process. Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
