This role plays a key part in supporting product quality, process improvement, and customer engagement across manufacturing and new product introduction activities. Reporting into site quality leadership, you will provide operational and people leadership across Quality Engineering, Validation Engineering, and Quality Control, while ensuring strong compliance with ISO, GMP, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Lead process validation activities, including the review and approval of validation studies. Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to live production processes to support quality and process performance. Provide day-to-day leadership of the Quality Engineering function, including Quality and Validation Engineers and Product Quality Setters (PQS). Support and maintain ISO Quality Systems and ensure compliance with embecta standards, regulatory requirements, and external audits. Act as a key quality contact for external customers. Manage core quality systems supporting production, including non-conformance management, incident reporting, customer complaints, and CAPAs. Requirements Third-level qualification in Engineering or a Science discipline (postgraduate qualification advantageous). Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a regulated ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environment, ideally within medical devices or pharmaceuticals. At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or people management role. Experience with process validation and CAPA system management. Working knowledge of FDA requirements and experience supporting FDA inspections. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt advantageous). Experience preparing and managing technical documentation. Experience in sterilisation processes and cleanroom environments is advantageous. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. The role will act as the SME for fully automated, high-volume, high speed packaging machines, and is responsible for day-to-day production support and driving improvements in the area. Lead a team of technicians to provide direct support to the production and maintenance teams to resolve daily issues and assist with troubleshooting. Champion a data-driven approach to investigate and resolve process issues. Drive structured problem-solving with the technicians. Carry out frequent reviews of the preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that they are effective at mitigating equipment failure and improving uptime. Work closely with material suppliers to match machine and process capability, and ensure controls are robust throughout the value chain to maintain high levels of process stability and equipment uptime. Work closely with the development team on new equipment or processes to establish robust process windows and effective handover to production. Lead QN, Customer Complaint and CAPA investigations. Responsible for the change control process in the assigned area and ensuring that appropriate documentation and approvals are followed. Lead the training and development of technicians in the assigned process engineering area. Ensure that associates are working in a safe manner and that existing and new tasks are risk assessed. Ensure that all group activities are fully compliant with the Business Quality Policy Carry out performance reviews, set objectives, and follow the absence management process for direct reports. Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level and scope of the role as required by management from time to time. Experience and Education Bachelor's Degree in engineering At least 10 years process engineering experience with people management. Strong practical knowledge of packaging equipment and packaging processes is desirable Experience in improving maintenance programmes and driving overall equipment effectiveness Strong data analysis skills and experience applying Six Sigma or equivalent structured problem-solving approaches Knowledge of Lean techniques: Standard Work, TPM Familiarity with equipment validation and documentation within a regulated industry is advantageous. The International Benefits Analyst plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of global benefits programs. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), managing benefits-related invoices and purchase orders, and ensuring accurate documentation and communications to support employee self-service. The analyst conducts regular audits to ensure data integrity and vendor billing accuracy while supporting key projects such as vendor transitions, policy harmonization, and process automation. Working closely with internal HR teams, external vendors, and finance, this role ensures smooth execution, compliance, and an excellent employee experience across international benefits programs. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position. What you will do Benefits Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Develop and maintain clear, standardized SOPs for benefits processes across countries (e.g., enrollments, changes, terminations of benefits.) Ensure SOPs are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with internal controls and local legal requirements. Invoice and Purchase Order (PO) Management Track, process, and reconcile benefits-related invoices from vendors and brokers. Ensure timely creation of POs and maintain accurate records for finance audits and reporting. Collaborate with finance and procurement to resolve discrepancies. Benefits Communication & Self-Service Materials Create and maintain user-friendly benefits documentation (FAQs, quick guides.) to support employee self-service. Assist in updating intranet pages and communication templates to reflect current offerings and processes. Benefits Auditing & Compliance Conduct regular audits of benefits enrollments, terminations, and vendor billing to ensure accuracy Project Support Support projects Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a contact point for local HR teams and vendors regarding operational aspects of benefits. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or relevant experience 2+ years of experience in benefits administration in multiple countries. Experience in different regions is preferred. Knowledge and Skills Familiarity with HR policies and regulations in different countries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Experience using spreadsheets and Excel Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
