Key Areas of Responsibility
TODD Architects is a client focused, multi award-winning practice and we are looking to hire a Senior Technologist to work with us on exciting projects in the Dublin area. We are expanding our team due to the continued successes with several new commissions in workplace/interiors, healthcare, and education. TODD Architects were among the first in the industry to hold the UKAS accredited BIM certification.   
 
We are based in Dublin 8, with projects in all sectors within Ireland and the UK. You will benefit from a variety of building types and job stages on challenging projects, ensuring your continued professional development within a supportive environment.  Support will be provided by TODD’s studios in Dublin, London, Manchester & Belfast.
 
The ideal candidate must have circa 5+ years post qualifying experience and an excellent knowledge of REVIT and BIM. We are a small growing, dynamic studio, join us now and grow with us. All projects in the office are developed using BIM/Revit software and training/support will be provided as required. The Salary offered is subject to experience and skills.
Skills and experience required


  • Architectural Technologist, MCAT Registered (or person eligible to register without further assessment) with circa 5+ years post qualifying experience.
  • A working knowledge of Revit is essential.
  • A working knowledge of the Statutory Consent processes, current Building Regulations, and the BC(A)R process is expected.
  • Good technical knowledge of building processes and construction detailing.
  • Experience in preparing tender packages is expected. 
  • Previous project experience on healthcare projects is desired.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a current driving license.
  • Must be currently in Ireland, eligible to work and able to take up a full-time position in the coming weeks.
  • Familiarity with NBS Specification systems, Irish, British, and other Technical Standards.
  • Interest in developing construction detailing, design skills and technical and construction knowledge.
  • The candidate should have excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering projects on site is desired.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting planning applications is desired. 
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and flexible person who can work well in a team and independently.
