Permanent/full timeWe will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are at the center of all we do.Conducting internal audits and following up on the results of the sameInitial induction of staff and ongoing training and development of staffEncouragement of innovative practiceEnsuring implementation and adherence to Company and HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelinesConducting regular communication meetings with all clinical staffEstablish a good rapport with external community agencies bringing the local community into the Home and facilitating residents to attend functions/activities within the local communityImplement Company Health and Safety Policy to safeguard the safety and welfare of staff, residents, and others.Implement regular fire training and evacuation plansEnsure the hygiene and cleanliness of the home is to the highest standardEnsure a preventative maintenance program is in place and implementedParticipate in the selection and interviewing of staffConduct regular training needs analysisCover the Director of Nursing if needed.Clinical practice in the home meets Regulations & StandardsRequirementsQualified Nurse with at least 3 years Management experience in the last 6 years in care of the older personPost registration management qualification in health or a related fieldProven track record in healthcare clinical managementExcellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skillsSound decision-making ability and results drivenAbility to work well and promote a team environmentWillingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the companyNursing Management: 2 years (preferred)BenefitsEmployee Assistance and Well-being programme.Full &Part-time contractsFree parking
