Audit Director | Asset Management | Cork

Our client is a rapidly growing global practice firm based in Cork City. They require an experienced Audit Director to join their team. Experienced Audit Senior Managers will also be considered.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic firm with ambitious plans for further expansion.

Main responsibilities:

• Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations.
• Project management - take responsibility for managing a large and varied portfolio of clients
• Supervise and train junior members of the team to ensure that firm standards are maintained throughout the entire audit process
• Prepare and present business tenders in order to develop and grow your client portfolio
• Take full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team

Skills and attributes:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Minimum 7+ years' experience with portfolio and management experience
• Experience in the asset management audit sector in particular funds and spvs;
• Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP, auditing standards and IFRS);
• Electronic auditing experience ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines
