Responsibilities:

  • Using our Translation System to Localize marketing content from English into Italian for our website and app.
  • Prioritizing localization tasks sent your way.
  • Localizing Item descriptions of various Items of the SHEIN collection.
  • Assisting other teams in the company with their localization and quality assurance needs for Italian.
  • Serving as a Language Expert for Italian.
  • Putting together a glossary and updating it regularly for Italian.
  • Creating, advising and following guidelines for Italian.
  • Providing feedback and linguistic coaching to your peers and engaging in quality improvement initiatives when needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Native proficiency in Italian, including strong grammar, writing, and editing.
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Qualified to honours degree level (minimum) or equivalent.
  • At ease with Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong creative copywriting and localization skills with superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Professionally proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Customer-focused and proactive with a courteous and professional approach.
  • Prior experience in Translation/Localization is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the Italian market.
