As a customer & digital Senior Manager in our customer practice, you will support clients in various industries and sectors, but who are facing similar commercial issues across the strategy to execution spectrum.

As a customer & digital Senior Manager in our customer practice, you will support clients in various industries and sectors, but who are facing similar commercial issues across the strategy to execution spectrum. Typical client questions are:

‘How do we maximise the commercial value we get from each customer?’

‘How can we personalise customer interactions at scale?’

‘How can we improve the sales efficiency and effectiveness of our sales force?’

‘How to enhance the external partner experience and optimize their commercial value?’

‘How do we drive the digital transformation?”

Your work will center on customer technology and customer centric transformation topics. You will manage client relationships and advise companies in the consumer goods, retail, industrial products, technology, media & telecommunications industries on questions related to commercial excellence and customer engagement.

You will advise companies on creating value from customer centric technologies/concepts with a special focus on our key propositions: Customer Strategy & Intelligence, Sales & Digital (e)Commerce, Smart Pricing and Customer Service & Engagement.

You will manage customer technology projects within the full breadth of the consulting field, from strategy through execution. Your projects can be in multiple industries and through focusing on your next career move, you can choose to specialize in one of them. Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include -

  • As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution:

  • You will take part in projects focused on evaluating current state and identifying opportunities for improvement, as well as implementing them.

  • Work as a part of project teams composed of internal and client staff, in order to transform clients’ operations and build a platform for success.

  • Support our global clients in their end-to-end journeys starting from the Target Operating Model design, leading to the large-scale business transformations.

  • Collect and analyze multi-layered data in order to present it to the client and select the best suited solutions

  • Support the creation of winning proposals to advise our clients with Global Business Services and

  • Outsourcing strategy execution

  • Develop yourself personally, through both external and internal projects, and a wide range of training and courses

Experiences and skills 

  • Several years of relevant business experience, and the ability to meet each of the following criteria:

  • Strong academic background

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in one of the below pillars, gained directly from working in commercial positions or from relevant project work within a (strategy) consulting firm: pricing, (digital) growth strategy, customer service, sales and data-driven marketing

  • Sees the bigger picture, with a solid understanding of the ecosystem of suppliers, partners and digital tools that are supporting your field of expertise

  • Insightful thinker, confident with concepts, analyses and frameworks

  • Energetic team player with an enthusiastic, positive, ""can do"" attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with notable presence and confidence

  • Leadership qualities, project management skills, and people management and development skills

  • Ability to plan, structure and prepare client ready-work

  • Ability to work on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently

  • Passionate about doing an outstanding job, both for the client and for PwC

  • Experience in Project Management and proven track of projects delivery

  • Analytical skills, working experience in analysis of various data sets

  • Experience in one or more front office functions: Sales, Service and Marketing

  • Ability to adapt and willingness to take initiatives and ownership of tasks and problems

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

  • Advanced experience with Google Sheets & Slides and/or MS Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience and skills in consulting projects

  • You bring at least 6 years of practical experience working on commercial topics within the customer technology domain and bring functional expertise in one of our key knowledge areas (CRM, CPQ, TPM, Pricing tools, Field Service Management).

  • You have extensive experience in the domain of CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) platforms.

  • You have been involved in transformation projects within the front office domain, specifically focusing on commercial topics like sales, marketing, service and pricing.

  • You enjoy business challenges and are able to tackle complex problems in a creative and sharp manner (e.g., using hypothesis/issues based problem solving techniques).

  • You have the ability/willingness to learn different technologies that can support your daily work as a customer consultant (e.g., Google analytics, Salesforce, social listening tools, dashboarding tools etc.).

  • You are passionate about being at the forefront of change, you’re ready to help our consulting team deliver practical advice that speaks straight to the heart of client business issues and deliver innovative results.

  • You are collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment. You’re a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders. Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

  • You are a networker by nature and strong in building customer relationships.

  • You have highly developed written and verbal communication, with the proven ability to deliver written reports and presentations.
