Full Job Description

  Title: Desktop Support Engineer    

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Duration: Permanent

 
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer who will provide desktop support to end users and solve an array of desktop related issues.

 

 

Key Skills/Knowledge:  

  • Troubleshoot laptop/desktop related issues.
  • Install OS and applications on end user devices.
  • Work on incidents/Tasks.
  • Windows 10 technical support.
  • Managed incidents through Service Now.
  • Supporting users in the office and remotely using various remote tools.
  • Hardware breakfix for DELL Laptops.
  • Supporting MS Office / O365 defect handling.
  • Identify and resolve technical problems predominantly for Windows 10 Dell Laptops.
  • Experience of using SCCM, Using Jump Servers, 0365, Intune and GoToAssist.
  • Troubleshooting issues with devices connecting to the Wifi and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones).
  • Ability to think for yourself and provides fixes to new problems identified.
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • To be able to communicate effectively to business stakeholders.


  • Strong experience in Desktop Support.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10 OS.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of AD, computer networks & computer hardware.
  • Good communication & problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible working hours as per business requirements.
