Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer who will provide desktop support to end users and solve an array of desktop related issues.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Troubleshoot laptop/desktop related issues.
- Install OS and applications on end user devices.
- Work on incidents/Tasks.
- Windows 10
technical support.
- Managed incidents through Service
Now.
- Supporting users in the office and remotely using
various remote tools.
- Hardware breakfix for DELL
Laptops.
- Supporting MS Office / O365 defect handling.
- Identify and resolve technical problems predominantly
for Windows 10 Dell Laptops.
- Experience of using SCCM,
Using Jump Servers, 0365, Intune and GoToAssist.
- Troubleshooting issues with devices connecting to the Wifi and
peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones).
- Ability to think for yourself and provides fixes to
new problems identified.
- Ability to work on your own.
- To be able to communicate effectively to business
stakeholders.
- Strong experience in Desktop Support.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10 OS.
- Troubleshooting
skills.
- Basic knowledge of AD, computer networks &
computer hardware.
- Good communication &
problem-solving skills.
- Flexible working hours as per
business requirements.
