Duties &
Responsibilities:
Support, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs and servers.
Participate as a member of the PC Support Team, which provides computing services and direction for client users of Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365, Office 2016, Microsoft Edge, Outlook, and other business applications on PCs and laptops attached to a Windows Active Directory local area network.
Be responsible for the setup of new and used computers, including coordination with the user and configuration of new laptops and PCs using Microsoft Image delivery tools.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for PC users.
Work with users in person (IT Zone) and via multiple remote tools including Teams and Zoom (Virtual IT Zone) regularly.
Conference Room/Meeting/Audio Visual Support, test equipment as requested and replace needed cables.
Assist in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new and upgraded PC hardware and software, such as Windows Operating System, MS Office, VPN clients, virus protection software, etc.
Qualifications
BS or equivalent and 1 -
3 years of IT experience.
Strong knowledge of and experience supporting:
- Microsoft Office suite
- Outlook
- Microsoft Edge
- Remote VPN clients
- TCP/IP and basic LAN issues
- Linux OS in a Windows AD environment
- Mac OS in a Windows AD environment
- SCCM, Microsoft Windows, Windows Active Directory, and Jamf experience are a plus.
- A strong customer focus and exceptional skills in delivering desktop support are required.
