About the job

The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Business Operations team has an opportunity for a data analyst Intern to join us in Cork Offices, Ireland. This Internship is designed to provide interns with exposure to Red Hat’s business and culture. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with our Business Operations teams overseeing EMEA activities.


As an Intern, you’ll be fully embedded into the team and engage with stakeholders across the business. This internship will allow you to gain insight into the dynamics of reporting, data manipulation, and generation of analytics to contribute to the success of the business. In addition, you will gain experience working in an international operating environment, interacting with colleagues locally and across the countries.


You will be supported in your journey by your manager and colleagues, with regular feedback to support your growth and development. You will participate in a structured learning and development programme, with specific job-related training, professional development and soft skills training opportunities. A buddy will be appointed who can offer you their experience, knowledge and guidance throughout your Internship.

What you will do
  • Support in managing the data integrity of our CRM to enable accurate reporting
  • Propose process management improvements and follow up on their development and adoption
  • Support in providing data, reports, and dashboards to bring insights to our senior sales leaders, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Develop, maintain and document a thorough knowledge of the existing business processes and capabilities
What you will bring
  • Available for a full-time internship in the period June - December 2024 
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Ireland, preferably pursuing a master’s degree
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Team player collaborates well with others and is willing to support both routine and on-demand activities as they arise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel – Pivots, Vlookups, etc.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
