R EPORTS TO :                   Senior Graphic Designer

Location:              Dublin Hybrid – 60% on site, 40% remote

W HY T HIS R OLE IS V ALUABLE

 

This role brings graphic design expertise to support Ornua's global markets, allowing the brand team to have oversight and control of the brand visual world across all of the global markets, as well as offering internal departments an in-house specialist design resource.

 

K EY A REAS OF R ESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Development of communications collateral and artwork for POS, Shopper, Social/Digital and D/OOH for international marketing teams
  • Support social media and content managers across multiple social platforms by providing platform specific artwork.
  • Work with internal stakeholder to produce high quality design assets across various mediums such as power point, stakeholder videos, newsletters and internal comms. boards.
  • Work closely with local markets and core member of the brand team to translate design briefs into high-level creative that leverage the newly created Brand Visual world (BVW).
  • Support the Packaging team with the roll-out of the BVW across core markets packaging skus.
  • Be a design guardian for BVW design output across the business.
  • Attend press-passes for all design projects when possible, assuring output is always to the highest standard.
  • Be up-to date with new design trends and design innovation, presenting these findings to core markets and brand team members bi-monthly.

 

 

K EY R EQUIREMENTS :

We are looking for someone who is creative and has a passion for graphic design that is looking to expand their skill set and progress their career through practical experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own. Candidates must have a sharp attention to detail and strong visual skills.

 

 

 

  • Previous experience in design for print and digital, ideally with brand experience and ability to complete ideas from pencil sketch to final artwork across multiple formats such as digital and print.
  • Previous experience in a digital, social media or advertising agency
  • Excellent working knowledge of up-to date Adobe Creative Suite:
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are essential.
  • Good video editing capability (in a social context); along with typographic animation and 3D animation.
  • Understands brands, integrated campaigns and how to build/extend via social content for a cohesive approach.
  • Adept at social-first design - create artwork specific to platform.
  • Enjoys creative development, constructive feedback and problem-solving whilst working to a brief and strong set of brand-guidelines.
  • Strong project management skills with proven record of completed projects.
  • Successfully manage time, workflow and schedule in order to meet deadlines.
  • Degree in Graphic Design, or minimum four years equivalent work experience
  • (proficiency level).

 

 

A portfolio of current work must be supplied at the application stage to be considered for

this role.
