My client one of the major leading supermarket groups in Ireland, is looking to hire an experienced shop floor Assistant, Supervisor or Duty Manager with a particular interest and experience in F&V Management. 

This is a very prominent supermarket store in south Dublin, located on the Dart line, accessible via bus offers promising careers and opportunities to grow your career even from the F&V department. 

Typically early starts around 6-7 am, with occasional late evening. 

Our client will offer a competitive salary from €28,000 up to € 32,000 DOE plus additional benefits.

The requirements for this Grocery Fruit & Veg Specialist Job:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail shop setting, convenience, and supermarket or within a fruit and veg department 
  
• Must have good working knowledge of HACCP, health & safety within a retail environment 
  
•  Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Commercially astute in understanding prices, waste figures etc 
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
  
• Must be available to start early mornings

•  Have an active role in the store, by creating a warm and enjoyable customer and staffing experience.
  
•  Work closely with the Management team to deliver on controllable targets, like sales, margins, shrink and waste 
  
• Ensuring your departments demonstrate the high standards and values expected of this supermarket group.
  
• Monitoring waste, and ensuring maximum profit is reached.
  
•  Approachable and a role model who leads by example, encourages teamwork, and fosters a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplace.
