Due to continued growth, new contracts and extensions Shareridge has an exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced HSQE Advisor . You will join our experienced HSQE team working on Public Realm, Civil & Utilities projects across the Midlands Region, this role will be based in our Tullamore office.

Details:

  • Proactively promoting a positive Health and Safety Environment for all employees.
  • Developing, monitoring and implementing the organisations Health and Safety policy.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Increasing Health and Safety awareness to management and employees with training techniques and coaching sessions.
  • Carry out weekly site safety inspections and audits.
  • Compiling and maintaining records and reports as part of the online EHS system.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Health and Safety.
  • 4 or more years experience in the construction sector, preferably in utilities and/or public realm sector.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Hold a full driver’s license.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Working knowledge of ISO and HSQE regulations and legislation for the construction sector.
  • Proven ability to provide support, guidance and training when needed.
  • Confident influencing and challenging decisions.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation, planning and organisational skills.
