Cliste Hospitality is the leading hospitality management company in Ireland with offices in Cork and Dublin. Role Objectives - Responsible for the oversight, project management and delivery of a mix of key IT projects supporting efficiency, lean operations, cost reduction and improved guest experiences. The role will also manage the company's technology systems and the performance of third-party service and support providers.

What We Are Looking For - Cliste are seeking an agile and entrepreneurial leader with world class project management skills who will “own and deliver” critical organisation projects for the business and has a mindset to drive continuous improvement and innovation. The role will also involve the management and oversight of key relationships with third party support partners.

First class communication skills and technical capability will be key, as well as the ability to lead and influence diverse teams across all the business functions.

Key Remit

  • Leading the Project Management of key business IT projects to time and cost deadlines using project tools to monitor progress, identify risks and communicate with key stakeholders ensuring that these projects meet their success criteria.
  • Managing and working closely with outsourced IT Services Partners, to ensure a fit for purpose IT infrastructure exists to support the operational needs of the business and developing SLAs with 3rd party vendors that reflect those needs.
  • Oversee the administration of all software applications / platforms used in the business, including property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and guest-facing technologies.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support the business.
  • Support robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and PCI DSS including oversight of regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
  • Develop and maintain the company Business Continuity Plan and related IT Disaster Recovery Plan for the central office and for the properties.
  • Ensure technical support and guidance is provided to end-users, including colleagues and guests, to resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner while managing the IT helpdesk function, including ticketing systems, SLA adherence, and escalation procedures, to ensure prompt and effective resolution of support requests.
  • Where required to evaluate and select vendors, suppliers, and service providers for IT products and services ensuring value for money and quality of service.
  • Identifying tech trends with a passion for customer-driven and lean design to ensure the business is leading the way in the Hospitality Sector.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management.
  • Hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity and expertise with the deployment and support of business systems ideally including PMS (Property Management Systems), POS (Point of Sale Systems), Payment Solutions, Spa & Leisure Systems, Revenue Management Systems and Housekeeping & Maintenance Systems.
  • Proven experience in project managing IT infrastructure and systems projects. Formal training or certification in project management will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel and attend at company sites, group meetings etc. across ROI and NI as well as attending at relevant industry events, conferences.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, ITIL, or PMP are highly desirable.
