We are seeking a Health & Safety Partner to join our client firm in the North County Offaly area. This is a large food processing company with a high turnover of Fast Moving Consumer Goods. This is a replacement role for an outgoing Health & Safety Partner and you will be walking into a preestablished Health & Safety regime. You will also be required to take over and develop the Health & Safety systems in an ever-changing environment.
You will work closely with the Risk Manager and play a part in Accident Investigation where applicable. This is an ideal role for a candidate seeking a well rounded career role which would give opportunity for progression either within the company or elsewhere from the experience you will acquire in this role.
This is a one site only role. There may be option for travel to other sites for Risk Management/Accident Investigation if the option arises.
This role will report directly to the Risk Manager.
Some of the job role responsibilities:- Manage the H&S for 400+ employees in a fast moving environment.
- Lead H&S walks as necessary.
- Co-ordinate H&S protocols across multiple teams.
- Work on Accident Investigation with the Risk Manager.
- Work directly with the Site Manager on a day to day basis and their site team.
Ideally 2years+ in a Health & Safety Officer or similar position
The above experience must be within Food/Beverage/FMCG environments.
An ability to work in a fast paced environment.
A desire to learn and take responsibility for a large food processing site.
