Full Job Description
Our Client is a leading Charity operating across Ireland
supporting some of the most marginalized individuals, couples, and
families experiencing Homelessness.
Currently
Hiring an experienced Housing Development Officer for
their Dublin Operation. Full time 35 hours per week – we
are open to flexible working arrangements
Permanent Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Continue acquiring and renovating the properties that are already in the development pipeline until they are finished.
- Build and preserve solid working connections with other parties, especially local government agencies, to enhance DHA's reputation and open new business prospects.
- Track the developments' advancement, including participation at site meetings.
- Communicate with fellow finance colleagues regarding cash flow projections and grant disbursement.
- Advise your housing management colleagues of developments regarding the timelines for turning over properties that are ready to rent.
- Compile all relevant certifications for construction and renovation projects.
- Asset Management
- Assist co-workers in housing management in making sure dwellings are kept in great condition and by applicable health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with colleagues in Housing Management, scheduling regular stock condition surveys.
Requirements
- a minimum of two years experience working in a development capacity in the non-profit and social housing sector or a comparable setting.
- A full driving license and use of a car
- good proficiency in IT Systems including Excel, Word, and databases
