LINE LEADER - EVENING SHIFT - METALS 

• You will work with Production Supervisor to ensure staff in place to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met on a daily basis.
• Introduce and remove material to and from the line at start and finish of each production job
• Ensure accurate transactions for all material movement to and from the line in SAP / MES

• Complete shift hand over meeting with other line leads.
• Support Supervisor in completing the training matrix, highlighting cross-training gaps and recommending training plans for the line.
• Act as first point of escalation for line issues and if necessary escalate to engineering, quality and area supervisor. Work to resolve issues quickly to limit impact to the line.
• Work closely with support teams such as Quality and Engineering Technicians, and when necessary with Engineering, Supervisor, Quality and Materials / Warehouse to resolve issues in a timely manner.

• HETAC Level 6 or 7 in a relevant discipline is a distinct advantage
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
• SAP experience is desirable.
• Experience in problem-solving and using Lean tools.
