About the role:

Michael Murphy Home Furnishing are seeking a skilled Photographer & Digital Content Creator to join their growing marketing team. This role is based in the Head Office in Newbridge Co. Kildare. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the production of high-quality photography and video content for use across Michael Murphy’s Home Furnishing’s digital and traditional advertising channels, including e-commerce, social media, email and print executions as required. Working collaboratively with cross functional teams you’ll produce content that informs, entertains and inspires our audience, while striving for the continuous improvement of the brand’s digital presence.

Salary: €32,500

Responsibilities and duties:

• Capture product and lifestyle imagery and video footage in our state-of-the-art in-house studio.

• Ensure a high level of technical quality and aesthetics for all outputs through retouching and editing in post-production.

• Take command of in-studio lighting, equipment and set conditions.

• Produce social media content for Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Work closely with the wider marketing team to research, plan and execute all content ideas for multichannel campaigns, product launches and seasonal activities.

• Work closely with graphic designer to ensure all outputs align with campaign specific look & feel and adhere to brand guidelines.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, applying new techniques and technologies as appropriate.

• Keep organised file systems and project files.

• Attend events as required.

Qualifications and skills:

• Team player with a passion for producing best-in-class content.

• Strong portfolio showcasing videography and content creation skills.

• Proven experience creating content for organic social media or advertising for e-commerce businesses.

• Expert technical working knowledge of production equipment including cameras, lighting and sound.

• Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Suite in particular Premiere and After Effects.

• Proficient knowledge of Final Cut Pro software

• Knowledge of 3D Software - i.e., Maya, Cinema 4d

• Experience creating engaging content across social channels.

• Ability to take projects from concept to completion, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
