They are seeking a Senior Environment and Planning Solicitor to join their dynamic team based in Dublin. The firm boasts a strong client base, including public bodies and developers, and specializes in areas such as renewable energy and social housing.

Position Overview: As a Senior Environment and Planning Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in the firm's Environment and Planning Law practice. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, strategic guidance, and expert representation to clients across a range of sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and impactful matters within the field of environmental and planning law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice and counsel on environment and planning law matters.
  • Advising clients, including public bodies and developers, on regulatory compliance and legal requirements.
  • Handling planning applications, appeals, and judicial review proceedings.
  • Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with developments in environmental and planning legislation.
  • Drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and submissions to regulatory authorities.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the growth and success of the Environment and Planning Law practice.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in Environment and Planning Law, or a Barrister with a specialized focus in the same area.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish environmental and planning legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide clear and strategic legal advice.
  • Track record of handling complex cases and transactions within the field.
  • Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
