The opportunity
Project: You
will be responsible for leading the overall planning and logistics
management process, assuming responsibility for the development of a
logistics strategy which shall cover the entire project lifecycle. You
will coordinate with the project team and stakeholders, providing
support in cross functional integration. In addition, you shall
support the procurement of the supply chain by producing the logistics
requirements to be included within the procurement and contract
documents and responding to any logistics related clarifications
raised during the tender stage. In addition, the role holder shall
support the evaluation of tender responses in relation to logistics
requirements.
You shall also share, communicate, and
collaborate with the delivery team, supply chain and other relevant
stakeholders in the implementation of the logistics strategy. You will
be responsibility for managing and updating the logistics strategy as
necessary throughout the delivery of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards.
- Understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural/engineering/construction sectors.
- Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
- Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.
- Managing technical outputs to drive efficiency.
About you
You
have experience in planning and logistics management, and leading
logistic activities across the project lifecycle through to completion
in large, complex infrastructure projects.
You are an
excellent communicator, both verbal and written. You are digitally
savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support
to strong, motivated teams. You are able to drive outcomes and ensure
high-quality service.
You have a degree in architecture,
engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
You will have experience in project management ideally in
large infrastructure projects within a construction or consultancy
background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the
