Retail Convenience Store, Deli Manager Job Cork City

Teamworx is currently recruiting for a well-renowned retail group with stores nationwide for a Deli Manager based in a central location near Cork City Centre. As the Deli Manager, you will manage a team of staff, by hiring, training, and motivating your teams, and also taking responsibility for the financials of the deli department including ensuring a high level of cleanliness, standards, and overall positive customer experience. The store is a vibrant and busy store that operates with high standards and a busy food service department. My client is looking for an experienced Catering, Chef, Cafe or Deli Supervisor or Manager with great experience managing in a busy fresh food service environment looking for the opportunity to grow and develop within an award-winning team and the ability to progress to higher-level positions.

My client will offer a competitive salary from €30,000 up to €38,000 DOE.

The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job: 

Previous management experience working with foodProven management experience, organise and supervising work of others Fresh food knowledge Excellent customer serviceStrong organisational skillsBe able to work both in a team and own initiativeA strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge 

Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job: 

Oversee the running of the bakery, coffee dock, and deli itselfResponsible for 5 staff members, planning out their workload, directing work and ensuring tasks are completed correctly Stock ordering and control of proper ordering Ensure the proper management of hygiene and HACCP recordsEnsure the standards are maintained. Train new staff members and provide further training for existing staff
