Full Job Description

Our client is expanding its project portfolio, and they are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Engineer to join their Kilkenny Office. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the dynamic team and contribute to the success of civil engineering, roads, and transportation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, you will work in a senior engineering role under the guidance of the Directors and other senior individuals in the Company. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and conducting inspections on Temporary Traffic Management.
Completing Temporary Safety Measures Inspection Reports.
Conducting Road Safety Inspections.
Managing and conducting Road Safety Audits as a Team Member/Leader.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree Qualification in Civil Engineering accredited by Engineers Ireland or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering/roads/transportation projects.

Advantageous Skills and Experience:
Certification in Temporary Traffic Management Design (Level 1 and 2 Roads) and Inspection.
Completion of IOSH Managing Safely in Construction course.
Knowledge of TII Publications, Traffic Signs Manual, Health and Safety Legislation, including the Construction Regulations.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal skills.
