Full Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a VP and SVP Legal to
join their expanding legal team in Dublin.
In this role, the selected candidate will be accountable for
executing, project managing, and negotiating a range of contracts
pertaining to aviation financing transactions. These transactions may
include leasing, trading, OEM procurement, capital markets, and
restructuring.

- Structure product and transaction offerings for cross-border aviation financing.
- Lead commercial negotiations at contract / post contract stage with industry players, including airlines, investors, and OEMs.
- Manage deals post-LOI, including leases, sales, restructurings, and financing transactions.
- Implement risk management framework through optimal structuring and industry-leading documentation.
- In a key customer facing role, you will be expected to serve as a primary point of contact for airline customers, aircraft investors, OEMs, law firms and other industry participants on transactions.
- Develop knowledge of issues that can arise in aircraft leasing transactions and the aviation industry.
What you will need:
- Extensive experience of over 5 years in a commercial environment, with a focus on either aviation leasing or legal work.
- Formal legal training and qualifications from and an international law firm is an advantage.
- Valuable background in the aviation leasing/financing industry, whether in providing professional advice or working for industry players like lessors, financiers, OEMs, or others.
- Strong critical thinking skills, proficiency in MS software, and flexibility in working hours and travel.
