Full Job Description

Role: Sales Account Manager   

Department: Sales   

Location: Dublin

Travel Required:  Occasional  

Reporting To: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Own the relationship for a specific set of accounts from proposal through to handover to Operations. 

  • Liaise with supporting functions (Sales operations, resource management, operations, and pre-sales) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client communications. 

  • Attend marketing and industry events where required. 

  • Strategically manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts by understanding client needs and aligning them with our service offerings. 

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to enhance client value and deepen business relationships. 

  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions accurately meet client needs and expectations. 

  • Provide regular updates to the CCO on account status, opportunities, and potential risks. 

Required Skills:  

  • Proven track record of exceeding OTE in a Sales role. 

  • Business development mindset and natural interest in account management and sales. 

  • Experience in managing accounts within a services or technology services environment. 

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and performance metrics to drive account strategy. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions. 

  • Excellent presentation skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Exceptional customer relationship development. 

  • Progressive organization and interpersonal skills. 

  • Thorough knowledge and sectoral experience. 

  • Exceptional personal drive and ambition to progress your career. 

Education:  

  • Desirable third-level qualification. 

  • Additional certifications or training in sales, account management, or a related field are desirable
