Job Description

Are you a driven, proactive, hands-on Sales Manager with energy & enthusiasm for creating a results driven environment, while ensuring a supportive, collaborative & fun place to work. IrishJobs.ie is looking to recruit a talented & innovative Sales Manager. You will be responsible for leading & supporting a group of revenue generating Sales Account Managers. You will have a proven track record in managing, leading & mentoring sales teams with successful & outstanding results!  

The Sales Manager will lead by example, exchange ideas openly & be a role model for their team. As a leader, you will act as an ambassador in driving change management in your teams along with managing daily sales operations. We are looking for a leader with an energetic approach, combined with the ability to coach, advise, motivate & maintain a high-performance sales business.  You will work closely with and have ongoing support and guidance from our Head of Sales. 

What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis?

  • Directly manage a team of Team Leaders and Account Managers focused on renewing and expanding existing customer revenues and generating new business 
  • Deliver best practices on our sales process that will serve as the foundation to develop existing Account Managers and new hires 
  • Accurately forecast revenue pipeline 
  • Provide structured sales mentorship and elevate the team’s abilities to manage and close revenue 
  • Onboarding of new hires  
  • Improve customer relationship management practices  
  • On-going sales coaching  
  • Engage your sales teams through consistent communication & results analysis  
  • Work closely with HR on recruitment and people management practices  
  • Work closely with Marketing on lead generation initiatives and customer communication 
  • Recruitment of new sales hires  
  • Be proactive and take on tasks as they arise  

Qualifications

Some skills you might have:

  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience  
  • Ideally you will have experience leading large teams  
  • Good numerical understanding to be able to report and assess pipeline and sales performance  
  • Proven successful sales record. Ability to demonstrate, metrics & performance  
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Experience of driving best practice in Account Management
  • Detail orientated, ability to adhere to processes and procedures 
  • Dynamic and motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude 
  • Ability to manage, lead and inspire people 
  • Build trust with your team 
  • Customer focused 
  • Commercial awareness 
  • Target / Deadline driven 
  • Collaborative approach  
  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills 

The role reports to the Revenue Director, Stepstone Ireland.
