Full Job Description

Perform Recruitment is a recruitment agency dedicated to providing exceptional talent to our clients in various industries. We are currently working with a reputable logistic company based in Drogheda, Co. Louth, and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Planner to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily and weekly activities to ensure the effective use of resources.
  • Plan transport loads to and from Ireland, UK, and the continent.
  • Implement effective route planning for drivers and oversee orders to completion.
  • Actively manage POD/activity paperwork.
  • Liaise with the team and drivers to ensure service levels and customer requirements are met.
  • Communicate with clients, sub-contractors, overseas offices, and agents.
  • Respond to changing customer demands promptly.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks efficiently and to a high standard, following reasonable standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Full understanding of driving rules and regulations.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
