Main Responsibilities :
- Develop robust and scalable web applications for high
traffic products used 24x7 in a continuous delivery environment.
- Prototyping and building highly performing and flexible
components.
- To write clean, secure and maintainable code.
- Optimising code for performance and scalability.
- Contribute to continually improving the software development
processes of the development team.
- Contribute to the
evolution of the overall product/system architecture.
- Mentor
junior software developers.
7+ years developing
in PHP with a strong understanding of most popular design patterns.
Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Linux.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming Experience.
Comfortable with MVC frameworks.
Solid
experience with Agile development methodologies.
3rd
level degree in Software Development/Computer Science or related
field.
Other skills that will be highly
regarded:
Zend MVC Framework.
Experience in AngularJS or React.
3rd
party APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Google, Amazon AWS, Stripe, PayPal,
Xero etc.)
Experience with high workloads, complex
systems, service discovery, AWS or micro services a plus.
