The Digital sales team is responsible for the successful sales and ongoing revenue growth of all digital advertising solutions at Sky Media. We’re dedicated to growing existing revenue lines as well as outperforming the market in key growth areas such as digital short form video and social monetisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Digital Advertising Sales Controller is responsible for maximising Sky Media revenue growth and making efficient use of inventory by answering client Briefs, upselling other products, creation of propositions across portfolio.
  • Responsible for delivering direct online and programmatic revenues, and must successfully navigate, and lead where possible, changes underway in the digital advertising world.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and pitch digital advertising solutions to an external customer base of media agencies and clients.
  • Sales across the full range of Sky Media assets including YouTube, websites, app and social channels.
  • Deliver high levels of servicing and education to customers about the range of Sky Media assets.
  • Key responsibly and ownership of driving revenues within a defined portfolio
  • Engage in regular agency meetings to minimise and resolve conflict to educate on Sky Media and improve general flow of information aided with compelling sales material that is ‘on brand’ (across new advancements, performance & content)
  • Support Head of Digital with analysis and preparation work for business meetings as required and input and aid on growing the main trading deals and all Sky Media products.

What you’ll bring:

  • As a professional, be known for your specialised expertise in digital media sales including programmatic buying methods.
  • 5 years+ media sales experience within the digital media market, ad tech ecosystem, social media, and wider media market
  • Experience in pitching and selling advertising solutions.
  • A natural networker who can create, develop, and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent sales presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent product knowledge on all digital ad products in the market, as well as the wider advertising industry and Sky Media business
