The Supply Planning & Execution Planner will be responsible for providing services to the Sales team and customers of LKQ Corporation, as well as their assigned Supplier and product category portfolio. The role will consist of answering availability inquiries and updating delivery dates to customers through efficient communication with our Suppliers, team of Supply Planning & Execution Planners and local Sales organization.
- Planning and executing replenishment orders to Suppliers and supporting the identification and addressing of exceptions highlighted by the planning/enterprise resourceplanning (ERP) system: order reviewing, order issuing, order confirmation and updating of expected delivery dates
- Executing alternative purchases for missing parts
- Managing, in collaboration with logistics, shipment advanced ship notice (ASN), purchase receipt confirmation and resolution of physical discrepancies with Supplier
- Monitoring KPIs for the supply chain and early identification to the Team Leader of demand and inventory planners’ key bottlenecks, weak points and critical situations that need to be addressed
- Building and maintaining good relationships with Suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitoring open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
- Managing and expediting/de-expediting according to backlog and specific bottlenecks that could arise within the planning cycle and lead time
- Acting as a key interface with sales and logistics to address day-to-day critical situations
- Executing stock cleansing with Suppliers: creating the list, receiving Supplier‘s approval, organizing physical returns and receiving credit notes
- Collaborating with Suppliers within the implemented Supplier integration programs
- Performing SLA calculations and reporting to Suppliers, including compensations
