TAX MANAGER/DIRECTOR - PART-TIME

My client, a Co. Galway based Accountancy Practice & Outsourcing organisation seeks to hire a new Tax Manager/Director to join their team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will be responsible for working closely with partners to provide a high level of consultancy activity and tax advisory work, with administrative duties removed. This is a permanent role, which has arisen due to the business doubling in size over the past two years, with further ongoing growth occurring daily. This is an excellent position for a qualified tax advisor/consultant/accountant to grow their career. The position attracts a competitive remuneration package, plus pension, plus extra benefits including flexitime. To encourage greater work-life balance this role can be performed remote, hybrid or onsite, either on a part-time or full-time basis. This will suit someone who may have their own practice, short on work and who wants to be part of a team structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Delivering the firm's compliance services for a portfolio of personal tax and corporate clients

· Reviewing audit files for tax points and identifying/advising on tax planning opportunities

· Acting as a client contact in relation to tax matters and maintaining/developing client

relationships

· Completion of consultancy assignments and participating in other ad-hoc advisory projects

· Wealth tax planning and restructure advice

REQUIREMENTS

· AITI/CTA/CTC qualified with a minimum of 5 years of experience

· Good technical knowledge of tax legislation and previous exposure to corporation tax

· Capable of working independently and have a proven track record for service excellence

· ProficientinExcel and Word with good IT skills

· Good organisational skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail

· Good team player and strong interpersonal skills
