VP Finance - Processes and Controls | Dublin | Aircraft Leasing

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of VP Finance , based in Dublin . Reporting directly to the SVP Finance (Process and Controls), this role is a pivotal part of the team with a focus on assessing the design and effectiveness of the control environment, collaborating with various departments, and driving improvement initiatives.

 

The Role:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective internal controls for financial reporting.
• Lead and manage the internal control testing process.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors during internal controls reviews and testing.
• Maintain open communication with shareholders' representatives.
• Work with teams across the business to document processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage initiatives and projects to enhance efficiency.
• Facilitate as the point of contact for the Shareholder-based Internal Audit function.
• Lead remediation efforts for identified issues.
• Participate in process workshops and contribute to risk reduction initiatives across the business.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Honours degree and recognised accountancy qualification.
• 5+ years post-qualified accounting experience.
• Experience in assessing financial controls in a large, complex business.
• Knowledge of IT controls is desirable.
• Proven track record in a fast-paced, dynamic, service-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, PowerBI & Word.
