**Job Purpose**
ICE Climate is establishing a dedicated Data Integrity & Governance (DIG) team in Dublin to ensure compliance with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Regulation on ESG Rating Providers (Regulation (EU) 2024/3005). As an Analyst on the DIG team, you will work at the intersection of Data, Product, and Compliance to support the governance, validation, and oversight of Sustainable Finance data workflows and climate risk scoring methodologies.
This hybrid role combines regulatory rigor with product innovation, ensuring our solutions are both compliant and commercially compelling. You will engage directly with clients and prospects to gather feedback, understand use cases, and translate market needs into product enhancements that meet ESMA expectations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Product Development & Market Engagement
+ Contribute to product strategy and feature definition that balance client needs with regulatory requirements
+ Engage directly with clients to gather feedback on product usage, pain points, and enhancement requests
+ Participate in prospect conversations and sales cycles to understand use cases and provide technical expertise
+ Stay current on trends in climate risk, ESG, and sustainable finance; identify emerging competitors and opportunities
+ Participate in industry events, roundtables, webinars, and client workshops
+ Analyze product usage patterns and maintain data on feature requests to inform prioritization
+ Identify commercial opportunities to expand ICE Climate's footprint within client organizations
+ Data Governance & Quality Assurance
+ Maintain comprehensive metadata, data lineage documentation, and audit trails for climate risk data
+ Conduct data quality assessments and validation checks to ensure consistency and traceability
+ Support implementation of data governance controls across Sustainable Finance workflows
+ Document data sources, transformations, and dependencies for regulatory transparency
+ Methodology Development & Validation
+ Support definition and validation of climate risk scoring methodologies aligned with ESMA requirements
+ Pressure test data inputs and model outputs to verify consistency and accuracy
+ Collaborate with internal model validation teams to ensure scoring models meet robustness standards
+ Assist in backtesting and sensitivity analyses to validate model performance
+ Documentation & Compliance Support
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation for scoring methodologies and governance processes
+ Support model documentation requirements for ESMA registration and ongoing supervision
+ Assist in preparing materials for internal audits and regulatory reviews
+ Maintain version control and change management records for methodology updates
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Work with Research, Product Development, and Data teams on methodology and product strategy
+ Partner with Regulatory Compliance Officer to interpret and implement ESMA requirements
+ Support Product teams in assessing regulatory implications of new features or data sources
+ Collaborate with sales and client-facing teams during validation processes
+ Client & Prospect Engagement
+ Actively participate in client validation processes (typically 4-9 months)

**Knowledge and Experience**
+ 2+ years of experience in Sustainable Finance data operations/analytics, ESG/climate risk data management, climate risk/ESG product development, financial risk management, or data governance/regulatory compliance
+ Strong knowledge of climate risk, ESG, and sustainable finance concepts and frameworks
+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
+ Excellent written communication and technical documentation abilities
+ Comfort engaging with clients and prospects to gather feedback and answer technical questions
+ Ability to translate client needs and regulatory requirements into actionable product features
+ Understanding of sustainable finance market trends, client use cases, and competitive landscape
+ Basic knowledge of EU Sustainable Finance regulations (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD) or willingness to develop expertise
EU Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role is between 50,000 - 60,000 EUR.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on objective and gender-neutral criteria including skillset, qualifications and experience of the individual. **Job Purpose**
The primary purpose of this position is to research, analyze, interpret, transform, and present reference data for Equity and Funds securities across global markets. This role requires working with documents in English and Portuguese.
The incumbent must successfully complete a structured two‑month training program to develop subject matter expertise and gain proficiency with the database(s) of record, enabling independent analysis of legal and financial documents associated with Equity and Fund securities. Training includes assessments and accuracy/timeliness benchmarks that must be met.
The curriculum provides exposure to market structures, client use cases, and evolving financing techniques, enabling the incumbent to differentiate essential data, interpret complex terminology, and identify relevant information for downstream clients. The work directly supports ICE's clients and internal stakeholders such as Evaluated Pricing, Index, and Analytics teams who rely on accurate and timely reference data.
**Responsibilities**
+ Analyze, interpret, collate, and transform reference data for simple structures/events in the primary or secondary market by reviewing legal documents, vendor data, and third‑party reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
+ Apply financial and legal subject matter understanding to make sound, logical decisions regarding data extraction and interpretation.
+ Gather required documents by conducting advanced research and direct outreach to issuers, trustees, underwriters, and other market participants.
+ Provide data and product support by responding to inquiries and conducting additional analysis where necessary.
+ Identify data quality issues, trends, and gaps; maintain awareness of evolving market practices, new financing structures, and emerging terminology.

**Knowledge and Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
+ 5+ years of corporate‑level experience, or 2+ years of direct experience in reference data, financial operations, market data, or a related domain
+ Proficiency in Portuguese (essential)
+ Strong command of English
+ High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex legal/financial documentation
+ Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
+ Strong Excel skills, including functions, formulas, and data handling
+ Data science background preferred
+ Skills in SQL, Python, and Excel Macros/VBA

Job Description
**Job Purpose**
The primary purpose of this position is to research, analyze, interpret, transform and present reference data for fixed income securities as well as reference data pertaining to those issuers themselves that bring fixed income debt to market. The focus of this position is to perform this work with documents in Norwegian and Swedish Language.
The incumbent must successfully complete a three-month training program that centers on building enough subject matter expertise and the utilization of the database(s) of record such that the incumbent can independently analyze legal and financial documents associated with securities containing less complex fixed income structures. During training, the incumbent must master all of the subject matter and will be required to pass a series of quizzes and tests as well achieve the accuracy and timeliness metrics that were established for trainees.
The training curriculum for the associate contains high level overviews of the complex structures worked on by more senior personnel as well as reference data client use cases so that the incumbent can differentiate between legal and financial language that is relevant to and required by our client base versus jargon describing information that is not required and, so that the incumbent can identify new financing techniques that come to market. The incumbent must then apply this foundation of knowledge via a logical sequence of decision-making events to determine relevancy of said information to our clients for any of their use cases and if deemed relevant, determine the appropriate next steps to ensure high client satisfaction levels.
The fixed income market consists of over two million active securities and the reference data provided by ICE Data Services for said securities is used by our clients to make trading decisions, settle trades, make investment decisions, manage portfolios, analyze risk, create security master files, create client statements and conduct other back office functions. Our reference data is also used by internal stakeholders such as the Evaluated Pricing, Index and Analytics groups said reference data plays an integral role in determining evaluated prices, determining whether or not a security should be added to or deleted from an index or indices, the weighted average of a security within an index and, performing a series of analytical calculations that are used both internally within ICE and externally by these stakeholder's clientele.
**Responsibilities**
+ Analyze, interpret, collate and transform reference data provided in a variety legal and financial documents, third party reports and vendor information while ensuring that the reference data provided in ICE's products and services accurate, comprehensive and in a timely manner, namely best in class
+ Make sound, subjective decisions when interpreting legal and financial information by utilizing subject matter expertise to infer, deduce and ultimately draw the right conclusions
+ Provide customer support for users of ICE products by resolving inquiries in a timely manner
+ Craft external facing responses for those clients that submitted customer inquiries containing a meaningful, well-thought out, well-constructed answer that includes a restatement of the challenge or question, the analysis completed to satisfy the request and where appropriate, the methodology used to determine the solution
+ Procure required documents and/or trusted content utilizing creative internet searches and by conducting direct outreach to issuers, underwriters, fiduciary agents and bond counsel
+ Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and process improvements resulting in increased accuracy levels, time to market and productivity
+ Help identify trends and causation of inaccurate and/or incomplete data
+ Participate in ad hoc projects to optimize processes and/or improve the quality of the data set.
+ Create charts, graphs and presentations for leadership teams
+ Use excel functions to organize, analyze and create reference data
**Knowledge and Experience**
+ Fluent in English and Norwegian - Minimum B2 level (upper intermediate). Knowledge of any other Nordic Language: Swedish, Finnish is an advantage
+ BA/BS in Finance, Economics or equivalent practical experience
+ Demonstrated, relevant work experience directly working in fixed income reference data operations or customer service
+ Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured, fluid environment

EU Base Salary Range
