In the role of Senior Engineer working on Overhead Transmission Line projects, you will be responsible for supervising a team of design engineers specialising in Overhead (OHL) Transmission Lines. This team will be working on a variety of projects encompassing overhead transmission lines ranging from 11kV to 400kV.
**A little bit more about your role:**
+ Providing technical evaluations and offering problem-solving solutions to different team members.
+ Prepare written proposals outlining everything stakeholders should know about a project, including the timeline, allocating resources, budget, objectives, and goals.
+ Offer technical guidance and input throughout the project implementation, statutory planning, and participation in Public Consultation events.
+ Responsible for the engineering and design activities of the team related to the overhead line. This includes PLS-CADD modelling, line routing, structure analysis and loading trees, developing design criteria, sag-tension calculations, insulator/conductor blowout, swing angle, damper system recommendations, structure spotting, clearance reports, conductor, and insulator selection, etc.
+ Conducting feasibility studies, performing conductor thermal ratings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Undertake studies to identify a technically preferred solution / layout to take forward to the Client.
+ Actively taking part in Industry working groups such as CIGRE, IEEE.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate:**
+ A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Power engineering.
+ Experience in overhead line engineering up to 400kV.
+ Experience on upgrading work projects such as utilisation of High Temperature Low Sag conductors.
+ Desirable skills - PLS CADD / POLE / TOWER
+ Knowledge of conducting galloping studies, EMF and Field Effects Calculation, Wake effect, AC Interference for Gas pipelines would be advantageous.
+ The ability to travel as projects dictate.

+ Experience of witnessing 3rd party cable activities such as test, installation, transport etc.
+ Experience of Working Groups and Technical committees such as CIGRE and IEEE.
+ Attained or working towards Chartered Engineer status.

**About the role:**
As a Lead Detection Engineer, you will be part of UKG's Global Security Detection Engineering team. This global team is responsible for detecting and responding to sophisticated cyber threats and attacks. In your role you will leverage a variety of tools and resources to proactively detect, investigate, and respond to emerging and/or persistent threats impacting UKG and/or its customers.
**Responsibilities:**
+ You will be providing hands-on solutions, customization and tuning, automation, and use case development for the SIEM, SOAR, and other stakeholder requirements for threat informed defense strategies
+ You will support leading production level projects to completion as a contributor and a collaborator between multiple stakeholder teams including the Security Operations Center (SOC), Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Incident Response
+ You will be working on a globally distributed team and expected to create and present strategies, technical plans, and architecture to audiences of technical and executive leadership levels when asked.
+ You will also maintain existing internal code, use cases, and further extend SIEM and SOAR integrations aligned to the Detection Engineering program efforts
+ You will design and engineer Security Operations focused integrations and automations including diagrams, documentation, and threat modeling of what is built
+ You will support the Director of Detection Engineering in directly enhancing the strategic capabilities of the program through complex technical projects
**Qualifications:**
+ The ability to lead complex projects, other team members, and support building strategic and technical initiatives
+ 7+ years of security and hands on technical automation experience, with 5 or more of those years focused on creating use cases and detection focused automation
+ 5-7 years of operational experience working directly with or in security operational teams including: SOC, Threat Intelligence , and Incident Response
+ Deep understanding of SOC, SIEM, and other engineering best practices, limitations, and ways of extending or customizing threat detection automation related use cases

**About the role:**
As a Lead Detection Engineer, you will be part of UKG's Global Security Detection Engineering team. This global team is responsible for detecting and responding to sophisticated cyber threats and attacks. In your role you will leverage a variety of tools and resources to proactively detect, investigate, and respond to emerging and/or persistent threats impacting UKG and/or its customers.
**Responsibilities:**
+ You will be providing hands-on solutions, customization and tuning, automation, and use case development for the SIEM, SOAR, and other stakeholder requirements for threat informed defense strategies
+ You will support leading production level projects to completion as a contributor and a collaborator between multiple stakeholder teams including the Security Operations Center (SOC), Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Incident Response
+ You will be working on a globally distributed team and expected to create and present strategies, technical plans, and architecture to audiences of technical and executive leadership levels when asked.
+ You will also maintain existing internal code, use cases, and further extend SIEM and SOAR integrations aligned to the Detection Engineering program efforts

**Qualifications:**
+ The ability to lead complex projects, other team members, and support building strategic and technical initiatives
+ 7+ years of security and hands on technical automation experience, with 5 or more of those years focused on creating use cases and detection focused automation
+ 5-7 years of operational experience working directly with or in security operational teams including: SOC, Threat Intelligence , and Incident Response
