The role is responsible for overseeing the work performed and managing the operational aspects of the managed service provider relationships. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the network and security managed service providers to: Plan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment including switches, routers and firewalls Implement security policies and controls as defined by Tirlns security team Maintain effective network services by evaluating and resolving network performance issues including availability, utilisation, throughput, and latency Maintain the network, considering redundancy, diversity, failover technologies, upgrades and expandability Optimise the network through monitoring performance, and collaborating with network architects on design Review SLAs and overall performance of the network managed service providers. Serve as technical specialist in network problems and emergencies.
