Job Purpose The purpose of this field-based position is to provide scientific and technical support to our customers on the health, diagnostics and disease control of their animals. The person in role is required to work closely with Account Managers (AMs) using their veterinary expertise to support the delivery of sales growth and market share gains. Having this role in our structure ensures our scientific resources and technical activities create and deliver unparalleled value to our customers. It's a major differentiator, creating competitive advantage and contributing to the growth of our business. Core Responsibilities Planning Align activities to the AMs account plans, to relevant marketing programmes and to management direction Plan and implement the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) management activities including KOLs identification, profiling in CRM System and annual plans for active KOLs in line with the Europe, Africa and Middle East regions, KOL Management guidelines and specific brand team direction Manage time effectively to allow for Business Unit support; ~20% of time and Customer support; ~80% of time Relationships Work with the AM to deliver bespoke customer solutions utilising all available resources and value add services Develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our customers based on veterinary expertise, respect & reputation Offer support, training and coaching to AMs and colleagues in the country team that shares your expertise and adds value to our customers Customer activities Grow the customer's product usage using technical and business knowledge. Deliver programmes that improve animal health and productivity Use practice data to identify opportunities and tailor our programmes to customer needs Provide the agreed standard of technical support to our customers, respond to customer queries and complaints quickly and effectively Undertake diagnostic support as required Support specific customers in association with AMs to provide a constant flow of information to the customer. Propose phase 3b/4 studies where necessary Participate in brand cross functional teams Support the National Veterinary Manager/s when required Support European cluster when required Veterinary knowledge and expertise Use veterinary expertise to better inform customers of a product's technical workings, diagnostic applications, uses and effects Share knowledge with AMs and throughout wider business Identify opportunities to use expertise to affect a commercial gain Maintain high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing and competition Compliance Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practice Deliver technical training and coaching to AMs that is consistent and compliant with Zoetis practice. Ensure adequate understanding and knowledge transfer on products and diseases Act in co-operation with AMs to keep accurate records of customer activity Key Skills Capability in, or potential to develop; Strong communication skills; written and verbal Knowledge base. Know what the AM knows, and vice versa Training & Qualifications Degree Qualification in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Certificate of specialisation in a relevant disease management or animal health area is beneficial Experience Experience as Veterinary Practitioner Travel Requirement High frequency of travel within Ireland. Drivers Licence required Occasional foreign travel Location The person should be located in the North or Northwest of the Republic of Ireland, but their territory includes Northern Ireland. Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Veterinary Microbiology within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine. UCD School of Veterinary Medicine is the only Veterinary School in Ireland and offers degree programmes in Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Nursing. The portfolio of educational offerings in the School of Veterinary Medicine includes both undergraduate and graduate entry streams to veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, an expanding range of taught graduate programmes, structured and thematic PhD programmes, specialist clinical training (residency/DVMS programmes) and continuing professional development offerings. These programmes maintain the highest educational standards and are recognised for their quality nationally and internationally. A wide variety of pedagogical approaches are employed, including enquiry-based learning, blended and online learning and small group teaching. The veterinary microbiology diagnostic laboratories of the UCD Veterinary Hospital (UCDVH) provide rapid in-house veterinary diagnostic services to veterinary practitioners around Ireland, participate in teaching veterinary and nursing students and practitioners, and provide analytical and interpretive support for veterinary, agricultural and medical research. Salary: 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) €64,112 - €101,524 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines. Moss Veterinary are looking for a sales person to replace an existing role. The role involves working as part of a small team preparing and delivering veterinary orders to farm clients throughout south Leinster, taking orders and liaising between our existing farmer customer base and our practice vets. Working from Naas, Co. Kildare. Ideally, we are looking for someone to provide: Customer support Liaise with vets and farmers on technical health issue of clients. Previous veterinary experience a plus. Able to work independently and happy to work picking and packing orders and delivering to farms and calling to farmers. Salary available on application.
