Cpl Healthcare has an exciting opportunity with the HSE for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist in the area of Homeless Population and Social Inclusion
The successful candidate will be based in Cork City and will be a key member of the local multidisciplinary team, delivering this essential service.
This appointment will be on the Public Only Consultant Contract 2023 by the Health Service Executive, working 37 hours per week. This post may be subject to restructuring in the future to facilitate the reorganization of acute services in line with new clinical models of acute and community services.
To be considered eligible interested applicants are required to be:
- Registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialties of psychiatry.
- Demonstrate expertise in investigation, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in this specialist area of psychiatry.
- Display evidence based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care
- Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and awareness and appreciation of the service user
- Demonstrate leadership and team management skills including the ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
