**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and maintain server-side and client-side applications using React/NextJS, TypeScript, and Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI ensuring code quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices
+ Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components to deliver fully functional systems
+ Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience
+ Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to facilitate communication between different components of the system
+ Develop data access layers and connect to relational and or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for data storage retrieval, and manipulation
+ Maintain and support CICD processes using Github Actions to test and build software artifacts.
+ Assist with research, evaluate, and deploy new tools, frameworks and patterns to build a sustainable Analytic platform
+ Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement of existing solutions
+ Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business
+ Analyze and define customer requirements
+ Collaborate on prototypes, proof-of-concepts & design and code reviews
+ Write technical documentation and participate in production support.
+ Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Proven industry experience as a Full Stack Developer
+ Proficient in React and its core principles, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
+ Knowledge in server-side languages/frameworks such as Java (Spring Framework, Spring Boot)) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
+ Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript
+ Have previously used front-end build tools and package managers
+ Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
+ Experience with microservices architecture
+ Background using relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
+ Experience in developing applications on at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred)
+ Experience in messaging and streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka).

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Atlas Clusters Organization. The organization is responsible for building MongoDB Atlas, our database as a service offering and fastest growing product. Atlas allows users to deploy fault-tolerant, secure, globally distributed MongoDB clusters in just minutes. This includes developing software to interface with the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP) in order to bring security, durability, availability, and performance to all deployments of MongoDB.
The Atlas Clusters Security team creates a first-in-class cloud database security experience for our wide range of sophisticated customers. Our team develops and maintains systems for cluster networking, data encryption, database authentication, and more-enabling countless mission critical applications across the world.
This role will be based remotely in Dublin, Ireland.
**What you'll do**
+ Build and design new features for MongoDB Atlas
+ Become an expert in and improve our systems for automatically scaling and healing database clusters

-Extensive Experience: 10-13 years of experience working on scalable, multi-threaded software products developed using core Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate/JPA, Maven/Gradle, PL/SQL, Unix/Shell scripts, and deployed on Tomcat/PCF.
-Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading one or more scrum teams of software engineers, providing technical direction and resolving technical blockers.
-Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience working with RESTFUL APIs and knowledge of Cloud Native Development such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and AWS.
