Electronic Hardware Engineer

As an Electronic Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing Sonova's engineering capabilities through the introduction of new technologies and world-class practices. You will represent the engineering department's requirements across all electronic hardware matters, while ensuring that our goals, targets, and objectives are consistently achieved through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. More about the role:

• Support the manufacturing operation through new technology introduction, training, process optimization, and cost-saving initiatives

• Provide specialist electronic and problem-solving support for production, including amplifier testing, UCT issues, and other hardware components

• Design, develop, and refine test equipment and processes, defining user requirements and translating them into technical specifications

• Source or manufacture test equipment and infrastructure as required

• Develop electronic hardware modules using CAD tools and maintain all associated documentation and technical reports

• Manage the implementation of test platform upgrades and support CE certification processes
• Train colleagues on test and acoustic equipment and maintain spare part inventories
• Ensure equipment performance meets operational efficiency targets and uphold safety and 5S standards
• Troubleshoot technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective engineering solutions
• Support commissioning, validation, and knowledge transfer activities within the production environment

More about you:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of full-time industrial experience in the development and manufacture of electronic test equipment
• Experience using PCB design software (e.g., Eagle) from design to integration
• Knowledge of EMC-sensitive design and CE marking requirements
• Skilled in CAD tools and familiar with fabrication techniques such as cutting, drilling, and milling
• Experience with documentation control and calibration of measurement equipment is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The System Hardware Validation Engineer will work as part of Qualcomm's SVE (System Validation Emulation) Team on leading technologies such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. How you'll make an impact:
As a Senior Engineer on the CE software engineering team at SiriusXM you will be joining a group of engineers responsible for architecting, building and maintaining infrastructure and client applications across a number of consumer electronics areas. These clients serve millions of listeners daily on both the SiriusXM and Pandora streaming platforms. Some of the product areas the team supports include smart speakers and voice assistants, TVs and set-top boxes as well as applications developed by third-party partners.

The Role
The Senior Hardware Systems Integration Engineer will participate in the design and delivery of innovative system solutions to customers in the electric energy ecosystem, from the modernization of the transmission and distribution grid to green energy generation, and electric power conversion to energy storage systems. • The candidate is expected to employ systems thinking and have demonstrated excellence in systems design in one or more electric energy industries within the last 5-10 years.

• Experience in designing hardware and/or software for one or more of the following

• high voltage (up to 2 kV) energy systems including kW power levels

• Test System Development: Design and develop test systems and procedures for hardware validation during the manufacturing processes. Amazon Web Services' Hardware Engineering team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world's premier cloud computing platform. We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers who are capable of operating in a fast paced, ever changing, multi-platform international manufacturing and production environment.

On-site Manufacturing Engineers work closely with our CMs to scale up our production on NPIs and ensure that we can meet the production and quality targets. You will also work with ODMs, CMs, internal AWS hardware and software development teams, and with upstream component vendors to monitor and improve the incoming hardware quality of AWS products both proactively in the design phase as well as monitoring, reporting and investigating any early-life product failures. This role requires the engineer to be a technical contact and take on full ownership of the manufacturing launch and resolution of process issues. You will be the driver in getting production up and running, understanding root cause of hardware failures and resolving gaps in our suppliers manufacturing processes.
