**What you'll achieve**
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for providing solutions to a variety of problems of certain scope and complexity by following standard engineering practices and using judgment within defined practices and procedures. You will build, test and modify hardware product prototypes, and determine power requirements. You will also plan, organizes and conduct technical projects within new or enhanced hardware products or systems.
**You will:**
-Demonstrate self-initiative and implement work plans and schedules
-Perform, design and develop engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems, including development of new products or updates to existing products
-Ensure applicability of component design and conformity of products and disciplines to established standards as well as specifications
-Understand and adhere to cost targets established during the program design phase
-Use tools appropriately with technical guidance and complete tasks as well as assignments under normal supervision

Electronics Engineer – Medical Device Industry
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electronics Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team working on innovative medical technologies. This role focuses on the design and development of hardware systems incorporating wireless communication, neuromodulation, and physiological sensing, while also supporting validation, manufacturing, and product lifecycle activities.
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
Collaborate with the Product Development team to design, build, and test current and next-generation medical devices.
Support all phases of product development, from concept through to post-production.
Participate in circuit prototyping and manage relationships with prototyping service providers.
Contribute to validation testing including EMC, wireless coexistence, safety, reliability, and performance.
Facilitate design transfer by working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.
Provide technical support to manufacturing to optimize production processes and ensure efficiency.
Design, develop, and validate custom PCBA test equipment for internal product testing.
Investigate hardware failures from the field and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Conduct design work using CAD tools such as Altium, SPICE, and MATLAB.
Solve engineering challenges using sound principles—from basic concepts to complex problem-solving.
Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or a related discipline).
Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical device industry (or other highly regulated sectors) in a product development or manufacturing role.
Core Skills & Competencies:
Strong foundation in digital and low-noise analog circuit design.
Proficiency in embedded systems development, including C/C++ programming and interfacing with microcontrollers (e.g., Bluetooth, UART).
Experience working with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors, with an understanding of IPC standards.
Familiarity with CAD tools and simulation software (e.g., Altium, SPICE, MATLAB).
Understanding of quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001, 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR).
Demonstrated ability to develop and validate test methods.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical thinking and multitasking abilities.
Ability to clearly present technical ideas across all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of risk management practices (e.g., FMEA, ISO 14971).
Experience with Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
Preferred & Desirable Skills:
Experience in medical devices, electro-acoustic systems, or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of EMC compliance and testing (e.g., FCC, Radio Equipment Directive).
Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 60950, IEC 60065).
Experience applying statistical methods and tools such as R, STATA, or MATLAB.
Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
Strong attention to detail, quality-driven mindset, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.

You will start by being enrolled in FieldCore's **Field Engineering Program (FEP).** While in the FEP, you will develop in-depth technical expertise, lean thinking and leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity to go through our in-person and online training curriculum as well as learning from experienced Technical Field Advisors with on-the-job training.
You will gain hands on experience and grow your career whilst traveling the world to provide power to communities. Upon successful graduation from the **Field Engineering Program** , you will be eligible for a **Technical Field Advisor** position working on **Gas Turbines** .
As a **Technical Field Advisor** for **Gas** **Turbines** , you will contribute to the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring of resources such as labour, tools and technical assist.
You will make decisions, apply concepts to issues of great complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities. Furthermore, you will perform hands on work and be responsible for the maintenance of Gas Turbines.
**How You Will Make a Difference:**
+ Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.
+ Manage, coordinate, and/or monitor Heavy Duty Gas site activities
+ Lead and manage on-site systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
+ Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
+ Provide technical instruction and work to company standards regarding operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites.
+ Responsible for writing technical reports, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely and thorough basis.
+ Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
+ Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages.
+ Perform walk-downs to verify that contractors and craft personnel are working to company standards.
+ Direct and manage aftermarket upgrades that need to be performed at the site level.
**Special Role Requirements:**
+ Able to travel extensively overseas to and from projects and various field assignments.
+ Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
+ Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments
