We are seeking an experienced and consultative Senior Director of RWD Sales to develop and expand new business opportunities across EMEA. Primary client stakeholders include Pricing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Late Phase study teams.
**Responsibilities**
**1) Client engagement and business understanding**
+ Maintains and strengthens professional relationships across client organizations, with a particular focus on Real‑World Data stakeholders.
+ Develops deep client knowledge, including business priorities, organizational culture, product portfolio, pipeline, and budget focus.
+ Manages a systematic client‑feedback approach to continuously improve the client experience.
+ Acts as the go‑to person to diffuse tensions or complaints arising from IQVIA engagements.
**2) Operations management**
+ Leads operational management and oversight of IQVIA's RWD activities across local and international markets.
+ Manages strategic and key account relationships individually or in coordination with Global and Regional Sales Teams.
+ Identifies and responds to customer needs, defining opportunities for RWD and proposing tailored solutions.
+ Collaborates with IQVIA's RFX, Pricing & Contracts teams to support the full sales cycle.
+ Works closely with the Market Measurement team to align and support broader commercial strategy.
**3) Shaping client perception of IQVIA**
+ Identifies opportunities to engage clients with relevant marketing and thought‑leadership materials.
+ Manages the annual Strategic Management Review conference.
+ Creates opportunities for peer‑to‑peer engagement by introducing relevant IQVIA experts aligned with client interests.
**4) Bringing innovation to clients**
+ Leverages deep client knowledge to identify strategic discussions and major opportunities for IQVIA.
+ Actively contributes to the Sales and Account Management community by sharing ideas and success stories from other major accounts.
**Requirements**
+ Extensive knowledge of Real-World Data
+ 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or similar roles within pharma, CRO, health, life sciences, or other regulated industries
+ Strong understanding of Medical, Health Economics, Pricing & Market Access principles
+ Proven track record managing mid‑ and senior‑level client relationships
+ Strong organizational, planning, and project‑management skills
+ Experience engaging with outsourcing, procurement, and mid‑management stakeholders
+ Excellent business and industry awareness with strong understanding of market trends
+ Strong analytical skills for interpreting customer business data
+ Ability to manage demanding timelines and influence internal and external stakeholders

**Responsibilities**
+ Perform site monitoring visits (selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits) in accordance with contracted scope of work and regulatory requirements, i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines
