You will ideally hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited institution, with membership of Institution of Civil Engineers (EI) is preferred. You have hands-on experience in the design of transmission and distribution systems across all stages (Concept, FEED, and Detail Design), applying international standards for utility clients. You can coordinate effectively across disciplines, resolving design issues and ensuring practical, innovative solutions.
Your technical skills include:
+ Cable installation design, including routing layouts, trench/trenchless sections, bonding and phasing, pulling, termination, and jointing arrangements.
+ Proficiency with CYMCAP software for cable sizing calculations to international standards.
+ Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and design tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
