**Your day-to-day**
-Wrangle and draw meaningful insights from massive amounts of unstructured textual data using the latest tools and technologies like Spark, Iceberg, Athena, AWS SageMaker
-Apply unsupervised learning algorithms across billions of email interactions to identify emerging threat patterns
-Work with state-of-the-art machine learning models and techniques like encoder-decoder transformers, LLMs, anomaly detection as well as classical ML models to solve a multifaceted problem
-Engineer new features, train and deploy models to production using AWS SageMaker as the MLOps platform
-Adopt a data-driven approach to identify gaps in our detection algorithms and propose improvements to our models and algorithms
-Promote and drive ML best practices and cultivate an environment of experimentation and learning
-Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI technologies, and incorporate them into our solutions where applicable

-Experience contributing to multiple highly impactful machine learning projects with proven results
-Hands-on experience in the NLP domain involving training, fine-tuning and productionising transformer-based models for text classification / text-embeddings (experience with LLMs, generative AI is a plus)
-Experience monitoring and maintaining performance of models over time in production considering model/data drifts In-depth experience with one or more deep neural network frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for Data Scientists to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll research and develop advanced algorithms that address emerging challenges in the industrial and energy domains. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights and deployable solutions.
**What you'll do:**
+ Research and develop cutting-edge AI and data science algorithms
+ Analyze data to uncover insights and inform algorithm development
+ Incorporate system constraints into algorithm and dataset design
+ Design experiments and create high-quality labelled datasets
+ Plan and manage projects using Agile methodologies
+ Document and present solutions using diagrams, code, and performance metrics
+ Stay current with the latest tools, techniques, and academic research
**Qualifications:**
+ MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
+ 1-4 years of experience applying data science to real-world problems
+ Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++ Experience with algorithm optimization, embedded deployment, and automatic code generation
+ Familiarity with signal processing and machine learning for power systems is a plus
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
+ Experience with Agile development and mentoring is desirable
+ A track record of academic publications or intellectual property generation is a bonus
