The Senior Solution Engineer - Technical Product Owner is an intermediate-level positionresponsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise,logical andunderstandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overallobjective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the technical vision and execution of a product, focusing on the technical aspects of product development and working closely with engineering teams
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that the product aligns with both user needs and technical feasibility.
- Formulate and define systems scope andobjectivesfor complex projects and foster communication between business stakeholders and technology
- Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
- Supportsystem change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based onanalysisof information·
- Code scripts as needed to support the business and development of requirements.
- Consult with business clients to understand and assess system functional specifications to meet organizational goals
- Gathering of specifications and creation and management of artefacts such as Epics and user stories or Business Requirements documents, including Acceptance criteria and Functional and Non-Functional requirements.
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Act as advisor or coach to new or lower levelanalystsand work as a team to achieve businessobjectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned
- Appropriately assess risk, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Signfiicant relevant experience
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, engineering, or related fields.
- Track record of Agile Scrum Experience
- Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with Databases and knowledge SQL,with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Proveninterpersonal , diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
- Experience in banking domain or financial services.
- Proven experience of creating system, process and/or data flows using industry tools.
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
- Problem Solver: Ability to solve complex issues and have a high ability to remove barriers,understandinginternal and external organizational structures, dynamics and trade-off.

- Experience of working in different project methodologies (including Waterfall and Agile) is preferred
- Ability to work with remote teams and remote management

**What you'll do**
+ Prepare detailed quantitative modelling and analysis for risk managers and senior management.
+ Synthesize and communicate complex risk models and results.
+ Conduct statistical analysis, quantitative modelling, and model risk controls.
+ Work with Risk Managers, businesses, and tech to design and build models for risk capture and stress testing.
+ Research, support, enhance and maintain market risk models; design and develop in-house software for quantitative analysis.
+ Develop methodology for quantitative analysis required on various work streams for "Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)" implementation within the bank.
**What we'll need from you**
+ Educated at postgraduate level or equivalent, with an excellent academic record in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, physics, statistics, or financial engineering).
+ PhD or equivalent degree is preferred although MSc applicants will be considered.
+ Knowledge of or interest in finance, markets, risk management. Prior experience not required.
+ Ability to apply sophisticated mathematical/analytical techniques to solve real-world problems.
+ Excellent oral and written communication, strong project management skills and ability to confidently interact with stakeholders at all levels are required.
