The team consists of Electrical Engineers with Design Engineering backgrounds (typically having worked as Consulting Engineers with wide ranging experience), many ex-electricians with a practical knowledge of the systems they are designing.

Basic Qualifications
- Degree in an Electrical Engineering plus a cumulative of experience with power systems and mission critical electrical design.
- Excellent understanding of the European Electrical Codes coupled with detailed understanding of critical LV, MV and HV electrical equipment.
- Understanding of relays, protections schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing and the ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ability to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/construction plus the ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions and present the justification to management in a high level review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience directly related to data center or mission critical facility design.
- Previous consultant negotiation and management skills associated with design, construction and project managing of fast track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations and an ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability, or maintainability.
- Possess leadership and problem solving skills as a motivated, highly dependable individual.

You will be a part of the global BIM technology team responsible for implementing, managing, and adopting new BIM technologies and systems to support the design, construction, and operation of Amazon-owned data center facilities.
You will be responsible for administering and implementing new BIM systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of such tools and propose process improvements. You will work with BIM stakeholders to collect requirements and coordinate development with the engineering team.
Key job responsibilities
You must be able to work independently and with your team to complete tasks on time and without error. This includes working with internal teams as well as external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors. Your will:
- Administer BIM Common Data Environments, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (former BIM 360), and other technology solutions.
- Use technology to design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions.
- Produce comprehensive, usable BIM systems documentation.
- Evangelize, educate, and support primary design technology applications.
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions, programs, or scripts that use BIM API and SDK such as Revit and Autodesk Platform Services.
- Coordinate information management, smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases.
- Perform BIM data QA/QC and analysis.
- Provide BIM technical support to project teams.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining BIM standards, processes, and workflows across regions.
- Educate and train internal and external teams in BIM software, procedure, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional experience administering and implementing BIM programs and systems.
- 3+ years of working with Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- 2+ years of using BIM API and SDKs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field.
- Experience working with BIM integrations and third-party APIs like Autodesk Platform Services.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
- Experience using SQL, data, and metrics to determine and drive BIM program and process improvements.
- Passion for learning new technologies, frameworks and programming languages.
