Job Description
We are looking for a talented Service Advisor (Automotive, Plant, Power Generation) to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Unit in Dublin, Ireland?
This role may require a 10% of international travel frequency.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
+ Team Leadership & Coordination: Ensure effective supervision of Service Technicians to meet all service and customer requirements, promoting accountability and high performance.
+ Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders to track team performance and implement improvement plans where needed to meet branch targets.
+ Process Compliance: Take ownership of service processes and procedures, enforcing adherence through audits and analysis of KPI data to drive operational excellence.
+ Technical Support: Act as the primary technical resource for staff, customers, and dealers, resolving issues efficiently and enhancing service quality.
+ Warranty Efficiency: Lead training on warranty processes to ensure timely job closure and maximize claim recovery, improving financial accuracy and speed.
+ Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce all HS&E standards on-site, ensuring risk assessments, PPE use, and safe work practices are consistently followed.
+ Employee Engagement: Promote a positive work environment by supporting staff welfare, encouraging open communication, and involving team members in key decisions.
+ Asset & Compliance Management: Maintain and secure company assets while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and upholding high housekeeping standards?

+ Process & Compliance Focus: Commitment to enforcing service standards, HS&E regulations, and company procedures through regular audits, data analysis, and adherence to safety, risk, and environmental protocols.
+ Adaptability & Customer Orientation: Flexibility to meet the needs of a diverse customer base, while maintaining high service standards, clean work environments, and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education/ Experience:
+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
+ Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
+ Significant maintenance & job planning/scheduling experience.

We are looking for a talented **Engine Field Service Technician** to join our team specializing in **Service** for our **Service Sales** in **Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland.**
This is a permanent contract, working Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Ensure Equipment Reliability: By performing scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance, you will keep Cummins products running smoothly and efficiently.

+ Ensure your personal tool kit meets minimum standards and maintain company-supplied tools.

+ Be flexible with work locations and schedules, including a 24/7 call-out rota.
+ City & Guilds or equivalent in HGV, Plant & Machinery, or Mechanical Engineering preferred but not essential.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/Experience:**
+ Apprentice Trained Engine Technician with a vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution (preferred).
+ Mechanical/electrical experience.
+ Customer service experience.
+ Locally valid driving permit.
+ HGV/Bus license would be preferred but not essential.

**Position Overview:**
The Rental Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support. This role plays a crucial role to deliver the highest standards of service in the most efficient manner to install rental equipment and support as a field-based technician. The goal is to maximize productivity and enhance the overall customer experience and improve operational technical processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Customer and Technical:**
· Ability to diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and customer site visits.
· Attend customer sites to carry out work for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Customer Breakdowns, Warranty work, Hire and Commissioning workloads.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
· Collaboration with rental desk, Sales, and Operations Team: Establish strong communication channels to share key customer insights.
· Able to use cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
· Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on completed invoiced work orders.
· Communications with supervisors, operations managers, senior technicians, and customers on updates and to drive continuous improvement.
· Handle orders in/out of warehouse for sale stock and spare parts.
· Assess Rental units and accessories for damage when returned to storage facility.
· Test and tag rental equipment according to internal process
· Setup, commission and decommission Rental equipment on site
· Carry out Chiller modifications at our storage facility.
**Internal Controls and Administration:**

**·** **Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.**
**·** **Proficiency in using, Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.**
**Skills and Capabilities:**
· Knowledge of manufacturing industry an advantage

· Appropriate skilled based certificates with F-Gas an advantage
· Gas safe and advantage
· Able to cover standby and call outs on a planned scheduled basis to include weekday, weekends and bank holidays
· Full clean Irish Driver's license as a company vehicle will be allocated
· Right to Work status confirmed for Country of application.
· Manual handling certificate
· Forklift licence
