CNC Programmer / Machinist Location: Co. Waterford, Ireland Salary: €50k - €58k per annum (DOE) Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm Benefits: Pension plan, bike-to-work scheme Overtime: Occasionally available at time and a half Syntech Recruitment is partnering with our client within precision manufacturing, to find a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist with extensive experience in milling and turning operations, as well as programming and operating Doosan/Fanuc CNC machines. This role involves delivering high-quality products, and contributing to cutting-edge precision engineering projects. - Program, set up, and operate Doosan / Fanuc CNC machines to produce precision parts from detailed specifications.
- Store and manage CNC programs to ensure repeatability and optimise manufacturing processes.
- Draw and design parts using CAD/CAM software.
- Select and order materials suited to specific projects, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain excellent customer relations through high-quality and timely product delivery.
- Work independently or under direction to meet project deadlines.
- Uphold exceptional housekeeping standards and perform regular equipment maintenance in the CNC workshop.
- Proven expertise in programming and operating Doosan/Fanuc CNC machines.
- Strong knowledge of materials used in precision manufacturing.
- Experience in milling and turning operations.
- Ability to draw and design parts using CAD/CAM software.
- Competence in managing projects from technical drawings to the final product.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously to achieve objectives.

THE ROLE: The Meath-based CNC Operator will be responsible for: Operating and setting CNC machinery to produce precision-engineered components. Clare Salary €35K - €45K BOE Role Overview: Inform3 are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator / Programmer that has at least 3+ years experience CNC turning and be confident to programme and machine from one off to small batch work complex components on several material types. The role is based in County Clare and is easily commutable from Ennis, Sixmilebridge and Limerick City and suits a positive and collaborative candidate with a strong willingness to learn and a keen interest for the role and the industry. Key Responsibilities: To produce and verify CNC programs and products. Able to work to high levels of precision. Program complex 5 axis parts using Hypermill. Communicate effectively with all other work colleagues who will be using the programs. Carry out and follow all Health & Safety legislations. To provide analysis on all existing programs and to document all relevant information that is required. The undertake routine checks in order maintain the machines/equipment in order to make sure they are in correct working order and to provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or a production supervisor. Choose the correct cutting tools that will be needed and to determine stock machining sizes required depending on machine strategy. Essential Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years experience within CNC Programming / Turning Knowledge and understanding of 2D & 3D Modelling using Hypermill. Strong understanding of 3-5 axis machines. Ability to work within a team environment. Good problem-solving skills. Positive and proactive approach to work.
