We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to join our People and Culture team, reporting into the Head of Talent Management (Centre of Excellence) to support the growth of the business into the future. As Strategic Workforce Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling PM Group's strategy through proactive, data-driven workforce planning. You will partner across the business to anticipate future talent needs, identify workforce risks and opportunities, and develop actionable plans to ensure the right capabilities are in place at the right time. You will also be responsible for designing and embedding key frameworks and processes that establish workforce planning as a core organisational capability. This includes working closely with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure our hiring strategies, candidate experience, and sourcing approaches are aligned with long-term workforce plans and evolving business needs. Closing Date is Oct 10th, this role can be based from our offices in Ireland and works to our hybrid working model Responsibilities Lead the development of workforce plans aligned to business strategy, growth forecasts, and transformation programmes. Translate strategic objectives into workforce demand and supply models, identifying gaps and risks. Design and implement scalable workforce planning frameworks, methodologies, and governance models. Develop tools and templates to support consistent planning across business units and geographies. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure workforce plans inform sourcing strategies, hiring priorities, and candidate pipelines. Support the evolution of our talent acquisition approach by providing strategic insights and helping shape processes that enhance candidate experience and employer brand. Act as a thought partner, not an operational lead, in shaping future-focused recruitment strategies. Use internal and external data to generate insights on workforce trends, skills availability, and talent risks. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support scenario planning and decision- making. Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to align workforce plans with operational and financial planning cycles. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce strategy and capability planning. Support the development of workforce planning capability within HR and business teams through training, toolkits, and guidance. Promote a culture of strategic thinking and future-focused talent planning. Contribute to major change programmes, including ERP implementation and organisational design initiatives. Ensure workforce planning supports future ways of working, digital transformation, and evolving talent needs. Qualifications Proven experience in strategic workforce planning, talent analytics, or organisational design within a complex, matrixed organisation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic insights. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing workforce planning frameworks and processes. Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across HR functions, particularly Talent Acquisition. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience with workforce planning tools, HRIS, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of external labour market trends and future of work dynamics.
